Kathryn Gonnerman brings nearly twenty years of working in nonprofits of all shapes and sizes, including twelve years with community foundations, to her work as a consultant, coach, and facilitator. Throughout her diverse career, she has consistently focused on cross-cultural competence, creating lasting impact in communities, helping high-achievers develop their voices and increase their impact, and engaging in inclusive practices. She specializes in board leadership and engagement, governance, and strategic planning. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in East Asian Studies from Yale University. She is a Certified Executive Coach.
In her spare time, she is an author, storyteller, singer, hiker, idealist, and coffee lover. She is currently based in Southern Vermont and Hartford, CT, and has been lucky enough to live all over the world, including Los Angeles; New York City; Greenfield, Mass.; and Nanjing, China. She has always believed in good news and the power of community.
